For Lenders & Investors
A structured starting point for financial conversations
When a business owner shares a SignalScope report with you, here is what you are receiving, what it can help with, and where its limits are.
What SignalScope Is
SignalScope is a financial diagnostic instrument. It analyzes business owner-submitted financial data and returns structured, rules-based output across multiple financial dimensions — liquidity, cash flow timing, cost structure, revenue durability, and others. Each report reflects a point-in-time snapshot of data entered by the business owner. It does not update automatically and is not a live feed of financial performance.
The written narrative in the report is generated by an AI language model to explain the diagnostic output in plain language. The AI explains what the rules-based engine found. It does not independently assess the business.
What a shared report gives you
A SignalScope report provides structured orientation to a business's self-reported financial position. Specifically, it offers:
- Pattern classification. Each diagnostic run produces a primary pattern — a structured label (such as Working Capital Trap, Timing Liquidity Pressure, or Operating Rigidity) that describes the dominant financial dynamic the data reveals.
- Dimension-level results. Seven financial dimensions are assessed individually, each scored as Healthy, Watch, or Risk. This allows a quick read of where pressure is concentrated.
- Plain-language narrative. An AI-generated summary explains the findings in non-technical language, reducing the time needed to orient to unfamiliar financials.
- A consistent framework. Because every SignalScope report uses the same scoring methodology, reports from different businesses can be read with a shared reference frame.
What it does not replace
SignalScope is not a substitute for due diligence, financial audit, or professional underwriting. It is a diagnostic instrument — not an advisory opinion, not a credit assessment, and not a verification of the data behind it.
- The data in every report is submitted by the business owner. It is not independently verified by SignalScope.
- Results reflect a single point in time. They do not establish a trend, a projection, or a guarantee of future performance.
- No output from SignalScope constitutes a professional financial, investment, or lending opinion.
Recipients of shared reports should treat them as a structured starting point — useful for forming better early-stage questions — not as a basis for decisions in isolation.
Report integrity
Each SignalScope report is tied to a specific diagnostic run completed by the account holder. Before a diagnostic is produced, the user confirms the accuracy of the submitted data through a logged attestation — including a cryptographic hash of the submitted inputs, a timestamp, and their IP address at the time of submission.
This confirmation record is retained independently of any account deletion, providing an auditable trail that a specific user confirmed a specific dataset at a specific time. It does not verify the accuracy of the underlying figures — only that the user attested to them.
Shared link behavior
If a business owner has shared a report with you via a SignalScope link, be aware of the following:
- The link expires automatically after 90 days from creation.
- The link may be revoked by the owner at any time, immediately.
- The link grants read access to the specific report only — not to the owner's account or other data.
If a link you received no longer works, the owner may have revoked it or it may have expired. Contact the owner directly for a new link if needed.
Practical applications
Organizations using SignalScope reports in their workflows have found them useful for:
- forming an initial read on financial dynamics before deeper review;
- structuring early-stage conversations with business owners around specific pressure points; and
- maintaining a consistent internal framework for comparing businesses across a portfolio or pipeline.
They are most valuable when used as a first-pass orientation tool — one that shapes better questions — not as a final assessment.

Important: SignalScope is a financial diagnostic instrument, not a provider of financial, investment, lending, or legal advice. No output from the platform constitutes a professional opinion or recommendation. Reports are based solely on data submitted by the business owner and are not independently verified. Recipients should conduct their own diligence and consult qualified professionals before making any financial or credit decisions.
