Terms of Service

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SignalScope platform ("Service"), operated by CEO Sightline LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by direct notice. Continued use of the Service following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Nature of the Service

SignalScope is a financial diagnostic instrument. It analyzes financial data you provide and returns structured, point-in-time diagnostic output across multiple financial dimensions. Each diagnostic reflects only the data submitted at the time of the analysis and does not update automatically.

The Service uses rules-based scoring to calculate each diagnostic dimension. Written narrative summaries are generated by an AI language model (Claude, by Anthropic) to explain the diagnostic output in plain language. The AI generates explanations; it does not make determinations.

SignalScope is not a provider of financial, investment, accounting, tax, or legal advice. No output produced by the Service constitutes a professional opinion, recommendation, or advisory. Use of the Service does not create any advisory, fiduciary, or professional services relationship between you and CEO Sightline LLC. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on any diagnostic output.

3. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to accept these Terms on behalf of yourself or any entity for which you use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Your Data and Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of any data you submit to the Service. SignalScope does not verify, audit, or independently confirm any financial inputs. The quality of diagnostic output is directly dependent on the quality of data you provide.

You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary rights to submit the data you provide and that doing so does not violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.

5. How We Use Your Data

We use the data you submit only to:

• generate your diagnostic analysis and reports;
• operate, maintain, and improve the Service; and
• fulfill applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your submitted financial data to train AI models. Data submitted to the Service is not shared with third parties except as necessary to deliver the Service (for example, AI inference) or as required by law.

6. AI-Generated Content

Narrative summaries and explanatory text within your diagnostic reports are generated by an AI language model using the data you submit. This content is produced for explanatory purposes only. It does not represent independent analysis, professional judgment, or verified conclusions. You should evaluate all AI-generated content critically and in consultation with qualified advisors.

Your submitted data is not used to train any AI model by CEO Sightline LLC or any AI service provider we engage.

7. Optional Aggregation Program

You may choose to opt in to our anonymized data aggregation program, which contributes derived diagnostic signals to aggregated industry-level benchmarks. Participation is entirely voluntary and has no effect on your access to the Service. You may withdraw consent at any time through your account settings.

When you participate, only anonymized, derived signals are included — no raw financial figures, business names, or personally identifiable information are shared or published. Individual businesses cannot be identified from any aggregated output. Anonymized data already incorporated into published aggregates prior to withdrawal cannot be retroactively removed, as it contains no individually identifying information.

8. Data Deletion

You may delete your account and associated data at any time through your account settings. Two options are available:

• Immediate deletion. Your account, diagnostic runs, uploaded data, and active share links are permanently removed upon confirmation. This action is irreversible.
• Scheduled deletion. Your account is locked immediately and all data is removed after a 45-day recovery window, during which you may cancel the deletion by logging in.

Following deletion, limited non-financial confirmation records — consisting of timestamps, cryptographic hashes, and session metadata only, with no financial data — may be retained for up to three years for legal compliance purposes.

9. Shared Reports

You may generate shareable links to your diagnostic reports. These links are token-gated and expire automatically after 90 days from creation. You may revoke any share link at any time from your report page, after which the link immediately becomes inaccessible. You are responsible for the recipients to whom you distribute share links and for the consequences of such sharing.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service — including its design, software, scoring methodology, and all platform content — is owned by CEO Sightline LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership interest to you. You retain ownership of the financial data you submit.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your submitted data solely to provide the Service to you.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• submit data you do not have the right to use;
• attempt to circumvent, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform;
• represent SignalScope output as professional financial advice to third parties; or
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of results. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any diagnostic output will be correct or complete.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CEO Sightline LLC and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of revenue, profit, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
